Grease Trap Compliance
Why are grease traps required?
When grease is poured down a sink, it is usually in a warm or hot liquid form. As it travels down the drains, it cools and solidifies. This can cause sewer backups. The backups can often be downstream from a neighboring location, and may back up into a neighbors home or business. This could also cause a local blockage in your home or office. This can be a costly repair from the plumber if measures aren’t taken to prevent grease from going down the drain.
